Eset, a well known global provider of some fine security solution announced that the'll be discontinue the support for its obsolete version 2.7 and its all earlier releases of NOD32 Antivirus. Its website says what is meant by discontinuing a security product.

By 29th May 2012, ESET will terminate support for its product, ESET NOD32 Antivirus version 2.7.On this day, we will stop releasing virus signature updates. To avoid degrading your security, make the upgrade to the latest version of ESET software. Thank you for making ESET your choice for computer security.

The above lines from the eset official website says it all.  The antivirus version 2.7 for Microsoft windows 95/98/ME/NT will be removed from their website including product pages and e-store.

I myself have used Avast free antivirus for the last 5 years or so! I personally think it is the best free antivirus software out there! I runs smoothly and I have never under these years had a single infection on my computer! Thanks!
